• Registration, Waiting List, Cancellation, Refund, and Rescheduling Policies

    Registration Procedures

    Call the Barton Creek Golf Academy at 512-306-5805 to register for any golf school. The Barton CreekGolf Academy requires a non-refundable deposit of One Hundred Fifty ($150) per participant at the time of registration. Forty-five (45) days prior to your school your credit card will automatically be charged for the balance of your tuition. Registration requests within Forty-five (45) days of your school will require full payment at the time of reservation.

    Waiting List

    If your desired school date(s) is filled, you can sign up for our “Immediate Openings” newsletter. This free email newsletter will keep you updated whenever openings arise and will ensure you don’t miss out on an opportunity to attend one of our schools! We will e-mail this newsletter out to all individuals on our mailing list whenever openings for previously sold-out schools should arise. The open positions will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Your deposit or full payment will be taken at the time register in the school. Our school can be contacted at (512) 306-5805.

    Cancellation, Refund and Rescheduling Policies

    We reserve the right to cancel any school within (14) days of the first date of the school. In such an event,participants will be provided the option of attending another school on an alternate date or receiving a full refund. We are not responsible for any loss or inconvenience. Scheduling and staffing are subject to change.

    Any requests to cancel or reschedule a reservation must be made in writing and will be effective on the date received. Cancellations will result in the loss of reservation deposit. Cancellation requests received within Forty-five (45) days of the start of school will result in a partial refund according to the following schedule:

    (1) requests received 31-45 days prior to the start of the school: Eighty-five (85%) of the remaining balance of the school after the $150 non-refundable deposit;

    (2) requests received 22-30 days prior to the start of the school: Seventy-five (75%) of the remaining balance of the school after the $150 non-refundable deposit;

    (3) requests received 14-21 days prior to the start of the school: Fifty (50%) of the remaining balance of the school after the non-refundable deposit;

    ****Participants who cancel within (14) days prior to the start of the school will forfeit the total amount of the reservation.

    Participants that cancel before 14 days prior to the start date of the school are limited to one rescheduled school which must take place within one year of the original school date to avoid cancellation fees. Participants that reschedule will however forfeit the original non-refundable deposit and will be required topay another deposit upon rescheduling. Corporate groups booking an entire school are not allowed to reschedule within 30 days of the first date of their school.

    ***If full payment is not received by the due date, the Barton Creek Golf Academy reserves the right to release the reservation.

    Corporate Outings:  We require $500 deposit upon booking a Corporate Clinic.  We also require a 14 day cancellation policy on all Corporate Outings at the Academy.  The client will forfeit the deposit if canceled between 7-14 days and will forfeit the deposit or 50% of the total cost of the clinic (whichever is greater) if canceled within 2-7 days of the clinic date.  The client will be billed the entire cost of the clinic 48 hours prior to the start time.  If a corporate group cancels with 48 hours of the scheduled clinic then they forfeit the entire cost of the clinic.  We do understand that occasionally inclement weather is possible and we have resources in place to offer instruction out of the weather.  Although in some cases we will need to cancel the outing and in those circumstances the client will be refunded the entire amount.

    Private lesson cancellation policy:  We require a 24 hour cancellation policy on all private and semi-private lessons.  The client will be charged the full rate of the scheduled lesson times for cancelling, being late, or not showing up to the lesson.  We do not refund unused pre-paid lesson packages.  Pre-paid lesson packages are treated like our pre-paid gift certificates.  We allow one year to use lesson packages and gift certificates from the date of purchase.

    ***We also require a non-refundable $250 deposit 7 days in advance for private or semi-private lessons when booking 3 or more hours in one day.  The client does have the option to reschedule the lessons within 6 months of the original lesson date and apply the deposit when done before 24 hours prior to the lesson times.  We do understand that occasionally inclement weather is possible and we have resources in place to offer instruction out of the weather.  Although in some cases we will need to cancel the lessons and in those circumstances the client will be refunded the entire amount.
